Philanthropy Plugged In is a digital hub to spark conversation around the intersection of technology, gender, and giving. Created in response to the cancellation of WPI’s 2020 symposium as a result of the global pandemic, Philanthropy Plugged In offers new research, podcasts, and discussion guides to help us understand how philanthropy is not only adapting to the digital transformation, but flourishing.
COVID-19 has taught us to adapt, to be flexible and nimble in leveraging technology, and to stay connected to friends, family, and colleagues. Perhaps the pandemic has prompted many of us to think more critically about how we intersect with technology in our daily lives. Philanthropy Plugged In asks us to think intentionally about new ways to imagine philanthropy and community in the digital age through a gender lens.
