Ellen Miller Gilcrest is the director of creative strategy at McPherson Strategies, where she develops memorable messages, events, content, partnerships and campaigns for clients in the social impact space.
Prior to joining McPherson Strategies, Ellen led the social media team at Metis Communications, a marketing and PR firm that works with emerging business-to-business technology companies. She also served as the marketing and new business manager at Fenton, a leading social change communications agency, and spent several years organizing action campaigns for social-issue documentary films, including HBO’s Gasland and PBS’ American Promise.
Ellen is an alumna of Barnard College and Boston’s Startup Institute. She is working on finishing her first screenplay.
